Day Ten

OMG we both woke up at around 2am. I thought our hotel room had suddenly been relocated above a parking garage rumble rumble rumble. Bill thought a construction project had begun directly outside our window bang bang bang. We got up and opened the drapes to see what was going on, and witnessed a sharply bright & brilliant show of lightening, accompanied by the loudest rolling thunder we've ever heard. Even though the rain was pouring down powerfully, the lightening was breaking through in a crackling theatrical display.

Needless to say it was not a peaceful evening, but we were rewarded when we entered the breakfast buffet where lo & behold there piled high in the iced juice section were jars of fresh watermelon juice (our latest obsession) and every type of food choice imaginable.
